About This Course
Every expectation a leader sets, decision they explain, difficult issue they address, and relationship they build depends on communication. When a leader’s message is unclear, indirect, or inconsistent, people are left to interpret what was meant—and those interpretations can lead to confusion, frustration, damaged trust, and poor results.
Leadership & Communication helps leaders become more intentional about what they communicate, how they communicate it, and the impact their message has on others. Participants examine the beliefs, habits, leadership styles, and personal barriers that can strengthen or undermine their credibility and effectiveness.
Through practical exercises and workplace application, participants learn how to establish clear expectations, listen for understanding, articulate messages with clarity and purpose, select the appropriate communication method, and navigate difficult conversations. The course reinforces a central leadership principle: communication is not complete simply because something was said. Leaders must take responsibility for how their message is delivered, understood, and acted upon.
